Position Overview:
PharmAchieve is seeking a knowledgeable and dynamic Lecturer to join our team and teach one or more of the following subjects:
- Pharmacokinetics (PK)
- Calculations
- Biotechnology
- Pharmaceutics
- Biostatistics
- Toxicology
We are also open to considering candidates interested in teaching clinical topics, broadening the scope of this opportunity.
This role is instrumental in fostering an engaging and supportive learning environment where complex concepts are effectively translated into accessible, practical knowledge relevant to pharmacy practice.

Hours and Location:
Various hours and days, based on the lecture schedules.
This role requires in-person attendance at PharmAchieve's head office.
Duties:
- Develop and deliver comprehensive lectures and learning materials tailored to the needs of pharmacists preparing for the PEBC Exam.
- Delivering live lectures from our studio
- Creating and editing practice questions based on content
- Foster an interactive and inclusive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and discussing complex topics.
Qualifications:
- A pharmacy degree or degree in biostatistics, public health, pharmacology, mathematics, or a related field.
- Previous teaching experience
- Proven experience in designing and delivering educational content, both in-person and online.
- Ability to explain complex concepts in a clear, accessible manner tailored to pharmacists preparing for the PEBC exam.
- A good understanding of the PEBC (Pharmacy Examining Board of Canada) exam format and the content covered, particularly in biostatistics and pharmacokinetics, is preferred.

2. Writing Sample - a one-paragraph writing sample to get a better idea of your communication style, technical knowledge, and ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
The successful candidate will be invited to participate in a one-week paid work arrangement before the final hiring decision is made.
