Project Coordinator/Medical Editor
Description
PharmAchieve is seeking an individual with a medical or scientific background to help manage, develop, and continually improve our accredited courses and continuing education materials. This role blends course development, project management, quality assurance, and team communications and collaboration.
Role Description
Location: On-site at PharmAchieve Head Office (Lesmill Rd, North York)
Schedule: Minimum 20 hours per week; preference for candidates available up to 40 hours per week
Duties:
- Plan, develop, and update accredited courses and their supporting materials, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and timely delivery
- Coordinate contributors and partners, set timelines, track progress, and clear roadblocks to hit goals
- Lead day-to-day team communications, including setting expectations, giving feedback, facilitating collaboration, and resolving issues
- Proofread and fact-check all materials; enforce accuracy, consistency, and compliance with standards
- Uphold quality controls and manage requirements to achieve/retain accreditation
- Supervising or developing voice-overs (by humans or computers)
Must-have Qualifications
- English proficiency with exceptional attention to detail and proofreading ability
- Higher education in science/medicine/pharmaceutics/pharmacology/pharmacy
- Passion for maintaining high-quality standards; willingness to learn and adapt
- Strong research skills (guidelines, data management)
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines
- Demonstrated project management skills (scoping, timeline creation, resourcing, and on-time delivery)
- Proficiency with project tracking tools (e.g. Asana/Trello/Jira) and spreadsheets for timelines, dependencies, and reporting
Favourable Qualifications
- Professional proofreading/editing experience
- Experience with educational materials and content management
- Proficiency with team communication tools e.g. Slack/Microsoft Teams
- Comfortable using new technology and software
- Multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
